I've seen only first 2 areas and big bosses but I already can say that around 70-80% of these were just pure monotounus walking rather than variating gameplay. However, such kind of decision combined with poor level design wasn't the best way to do it either. You can play Mushroom Wars on PlayStation 3, PC, iOS and Android. It wasnt amazing or anything, but it wasnt an experience I regret at all. Jotun: Valhalla Edition is an indie action game developed by Thunder Lotus Games and. I understand the main character is a viking (?) and not a ninja, her movement are intentionally slow and steady to fit her personality of a mighty warrior that can destroy few enemies with a swing of his/her axe. Mushrooms Ive solved everything up till the point where im in Vethrfolnir's Roost and I can't seem to get past the mushrooms no matter what I do. Meanwhile, with Jotun, it took me 3.2 hours to beat the entire game, if it took you 3 hours to get to level 2, you were definitely doing something wrong. I understand that the BIG OPEN SPACES were supposedly a intended design choice to somehow give player the feeling of a BIG EPIC scope, but it wasn't the best way to do it. So, it is a slow game for the sake of slow? Exploration-wise the game does not offer much to cover the cost of such slow "pace": very often re-used art-assets you keep seeing over and over, a lot of empty open space for no particular reason (no actual gameplay reason - no secrets, enemies, just basic boxes to smash, whatever plus the spoken open spaces are filled with the same assets you've seen ages ago already), very slow character movement.
